My friends and I had the opportunity to travel to Jamaica.  We were introduced to Chris from a fellow traveler who highly recommended  him.  Chris is a friendly, informative guide who is proud to show the beauty of his country and its people.
He provided us with a well-guided tour in Ocho Rios which included a stop at the local craft market (and even came in with us!), a drive thru Fern Gulley which is beautiful, and a photo op overlooking Ocho Rios  where you’ll meet the “Bird Man” there!
 I highly suggest getting in touch with Chris for a tour – he’s a great guy and we felt very safe with him. I’ve even recommended him to clients who travelled recently to Ocho Rios (I’m a travel agent) – and they had an awesome experience with him too!

  My friend and I stayed at the RUI Palace in Ocho Rios, Jamaica in 2011.  We connected with Chris near the beach at the resort.  We were immediately impressed with his professionalism and less aggressive approach to marketing his services to us. The first trip Chris took us on was to Dunn’s River then shopping in Montego bay.  Chris made us feel very comfortable right away.  He was descriptive in his tours and made us feel extremely safe especially while shopping in Montego Bay. He was patient while waiting for us girls to finish our shopping as well!  Another evening Chris suggested we visit the Luminous Lagoon which we would never had known about had it not been for him.  Definitely worth the trip!  Chris is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable. We found him most professional and entertaining at the same time.  His driving skills are also outstanding which made us feel safe while navigating the roads in Jamaica.  We would highly recommend Chris as one of the best tour guides who makes you feel safe and comfortable and is armed with knowledge of the sites and the geography of beautiful Jamaica.

  We traveled to Ocho Rios, Jamaica in July 2010 and stayed at the RUI Ocho Rios hotel.  I hired Chris Linton and Chris Jamaica Tours as our guide to show me and my family around the Ocho Rios area.  Chris was excellent.  He showed us the best spots in the Ocho Rios area and timed our tour so that we would miss any crowds.  Chris was personable and humorous and provided excellent details at each stop.  We, including my teenagers, also enjoyed meeting a local and learning how the real Jamaicans lived.  Chris even showed us his home.  I would highly recommend Chris and Chris Jamaica Tours as a guide or driver for anyone staying in the Ocho Rios area.

    We were fortunate enough to spend a lovely afternoon with Chris. A friend of ours had met him and recommended him to us from a previous trip to Ochos Rios. Chris is awesome and showed us a wonderful time!! We told him that the kids (all teenagers) would love to go cliff jumping. We wanted to see local spots and stay away from the touristy areas. He was good enough to check with a friend in area where he grew up as the water was pretty rough that day. Unfortunately, it was too rough, but he took us to another Oasis in the mountains. All nine of us had an amazing day and the kids all loved the swimming and the wonderful excursion Chris took us on. He even took us to "the poor mans Dunns River Falls" A much smaller version, we loved seeing the locals there enjoying a swim, it was quite pretty. Chris accompanied us everywhere to make sure all went well and that everyone was happy! We ended with a wonderful lunch at a local place before we returned to the hotel. Chris is a wonderful tour guide. He grew up in Jamaica and is obviously very proud of his heritage. He is friendly and kind and his prices are more competitive than that at the hotel or for tours.  Chris will take you to whatever you would like to see, off the beaten path or to more popular attractions. Having Chris as your own private guide is certainly more enjoyable than being with a full tour.

  My family and I spent a week in Jamaica during August of 2011.  Our resort, as many will do, steered us to a particular tour and taxi service.  A group of departing tourist introduced us to Mr. Chris Linton to help us see the sights.  My family and I now agree that this was our single best vacation decision.
 
First, Chris made sure he was helping us see and do what we, not the resort, wanted to see in Jamaica.  He gave us accurate information about the activities and what to expect.  Next he made us comfortable during transport and always assured that we were safe.  Additionally he was always excited about sharing local culture and folk lure with us and patiently answered endless questions posed by my children. Finally, I spent far less money by working with him independently than with a larger vendor and was able to schedule what worked best for our small group.
 
My career as a physician allows me to travel quite a bit but it has given me high standards for what I expect from others.  The services provided by Mr. Chris Linton, to myself and my family, met and exceeded all of my travel expectations and I have no reservations about recommending his services.  He honestly made our vacation "No Problem"!

  The Ultimate Tour Guide that's how I refer to Kris. While vacationing in Jamaica I had the pleasure of meeting Kris, he provided myself and my travel companions with  many a magnificent and truly unforgettable tour of Jamaica. Kris takes great pride in his profession and  together with his friendly personality he makes you feel comfortable and in the hands of someone whom you can trust . His knowledge and narration ( he speaks several languages) of the places we visited was outstanding and his sense of humor charming and relaxing. I’ve recommended Kris to many of my friends and all were very pleased that I did so. When I think of Kris I think family , he will truly make you feel as if you are .
